Objective

The Data Governance Advisor is responsible for developing and implementing data governance policies and procedures to ensure high data quality, availability, and protection. This role also ensures that the data assets of the organization are managed, organized, and utilized effectively.

Key Functions

1. Develop and implement data governance framework. 2. Coordinate with different departments for data quality and consistency. 3. Define standards and procedures for data classification and security. 4. Monitor and report on data governance activities. 5. Conduct data governance training and awareness programs. 6. Manage data governance tools and technologies. 7. Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to drive data governance initiatives. 8. Assist in data risk assessment and mitigation activities. 9. Support data privacy and compliance efforts. 10. Promote data literacy across the organization.

Required Skills

1. Strong knowledge of data governance principles and methodologies. 2. Proficiency in data analysis and management. 3. Understanding of data related regulations and standards. 4. Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools. 11. Knowledge of Big Data technologies. 12. Experience with ETL processes. 13. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts. 14. Understanding of metadata management. 15. Experience with data governance project management.
