Key Functions
1. Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability. 2. Perform network maintenance and system upgrades. 3. Troubleshoot network problems and outages. 4. Secure network systems by enforcing policies and defining access levels. 5. Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution. 6. Develop network performance improvement plans. 7. Maintain and administer firewall environments in line with IT security policy.
Required Skills
1. Network design and implementation. 2. Network troubleshooting. 3. Knowledge of routing and switching. 4. Proficiency in network security principles. 5. Understanding of network protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP). 6. Familiarity with access control models and network security. 7. Experience with network diagnostic tools. 8.
